ANZAC

A sad letter arrived from home. The letter read
To nick
There is some bad news and good news. The bad news is your friend has died and the good news is you don’t have much longer at war and not many of your soldiers have died.from your brother.
So I replied with “how do you know”and he came back with another letter[on a plane]and it read
I came on my plane and saw that not many anzacs have died and also saw your friend had died.

After I read the letter i was on watch duty while I was on watch duty I saw them going out to their boats. I thought this might be the end of the war! So i was so excited! But it was not!

The Invisible taniwha

The invisible taniwha creeps through the crowd and tickles Tom’s toes.
The kai is making him hungry. He sneaks through the crowd and reaches for the kai but suddenly the light turns and shines at him so he turns around and crawls up Tom’s back. Tom doesn’t notice it until it touches his hair. “What was that?” he cried as he tries to wipe it off his hair. Tom wonders what it is on his hair. The taniwha’s in the wharenui and hears Kapa Haka and everyone except Tom noticed it.
Tom gets a little fright but just enough to knock the person beside him and we all giggled.
So Tom got angry because we were giggling. They cancelled the kapa haka performance.
We had to leave while the taniwha was still lurking on Tom’s back.
